Sometimes small and quietly uttered.
Capable of lifting us to flight or
throwing us into the depths of despair.
Quiet murmurs of comfort
Loud shouts of joy.
They can brighten our day or
heighten the isolation of the night.
Encouraging.
Supporting.
Considered.
Weighed.
Taken to heart.
Remembered.
But most pleasant the whispered
“I Love You.”
