I agree … I mean I think hitting for me would be better than yelling

I seriously hate it when someone yells at me even if it is just a loud tone and not an angry tone, it makes me feel uneasy.

Yell back at anyone who yells at you and they will shut up

Ya Allah! as if you were describing me!! I hate it as well! and a lot more maybe :s
and to be honest…I make sure not to communicate a lot with such people, because whatever you say or do infront of them they just can’t help but yell!

I hope things get better soon.
Why do people yell ? I think pretty much for the same reason they poke fun at you or treat you like a crazy person during an argument. If they can not win a debate by logical argument, they resolve to “ad hominem” attacks and yelling. It just makes them think they are stronger and they have won!

You said it, we all hate yelling, I for one hate it so very much, people who were ever in a heated discussion with me know that ana bakhane2 w batanne7 w ba3asseb bas even when I’m very irritated I never yell, it’s annoying! The only time I ever raise my voice is when I beg one of my brothers who is at the other end of the house to get me a glass of water

Although, I do not think yelling is an appropriate way of communicating. I do feel that people some times need to yell. It’s so much going on in this world and so much pent up anger, that one needs to have a way of escape. I’d rather a person yell at me, get it out of there system so whe can continue.

Sometime you might have to look past the yelling and find out why the person is so angry or upset.

But on the other hand if the person just yells all the time for no true reason, then I wouldn’t be bothered either. Don’t cry be concerned that person might really need your understanding.

best thing to do is walk away from that person, that’s what i do
