Warm memories flood my mind, bringing a smile and a soft sigh.
Happy times, bright thoughts of cherished moments in time.
Chance meeting? Perhaps.
Or Destiny’s call.
Does it really matter where or why?
Two lives have touched.
Two souls entwined.
Two spirits now glide upwards together.
Our beings now linked, and forged with each other.
Unbreakable bond of the future and past.
To know without having been told anything.
To hear without sound being uttered.
To see when the vision holds nothing at all.
To speak when no words need be found.
This is the thread that weaves us together.
Bonds us in all that we do.
Your hand close in mine, your voice wrapped around me,
Your love my bright shield in all things.
The future becomes an extension of past.
Each day filled with new and old knowledge.
We learn, yet we know with certain instinct, what we were and will be is now joined.
